Coach Taylor
Coach Taylor has been teaching tennis since 2017, working with students across Denison ISD, Pottsboro ISD, and Gunter ISD. A graduate of Pottsboro High School, she developed her passion for the sport while competing in high school. Her experience as both a player and coach gives her a well-rounded perspective, allowing her to connect with students of all ages and skill levels.
Specializing in coaching players between the ages of 5 and 25, Coach Taylor tailors her instruction to help students build strong fundamentals while developing their unique style of play. As a USPTA-certified coach, she brings professional expertise and a structured approach to every lesson, ensuring that students improve their technique, strategy, and overall confidence on the court.
One of Coach Taylor’s most memorable tennis experiences was attending the TTCA convention, where she unknowingly had a conversation with Serena Williams. Later that day, she met John Isner but didn’t immediately recognize him. Looking back, she laughs at the experience and how surreal it was to meet such legendary players without realizing it at the moment. Her passion for the sport, combined with her fun and engaging coaching style, makes her a favorite among students looking to learn and enjoy the game of tennis.
