Coach Shinko

Coach Shinko grew up in Japan, where she started playing tennis in high school and later competed at the collegiate level in Tokyo. After graduating, she dedicated over 25 years to teaching at a Japanese preschool and an international school in Tokyo, fostering a love for learning in young students. 

In 2016, Shinko moved to the United States and became an active participant in the TCD and USTA tennis leagues. She enjoys sharing her passion for tennis with others and inspiring players of all ages. 

Tennis has always been Shinko’s true passion, and she approaches the sport with dedication and perseverance. One of her favorite quotes is: "I never give up until I see the ball double bounce."
